As I said before, this isn't about Napster.  It's about consistency.

But you do make one analogy I'd like you to rethink.  "where I could legally purchase".

Debbi likened it to stealing a car because the keys are in it.  Still stealing.

You're now saying that if the owner won't sell you the car, it's ok for you to take it without paying?

Sorry, no.  It's still stealing.  You don't give up your legal copyright simply because you don't make what you have copyrighted available on the open market.

Try to justify it as many ways as you want, it's still distributing someone else's property without permission.

Actually Kevin... DebbiR wasn't offering to share anything even remotely linked to Napster, nor has she ever offered to share an MP3 that was available on any CD.  She was offering to make the video's of several of Creed's interviews available to those of us who don't have VH1 available in our area... not making and sharing MP3's so that we don't have to buy a CD.  BTW, if you happen to know where I could legally purchase the special that VH1 had on Creed, or the video of the Billboard awards or the VH1 awards where Creed performed, please pass along the URL or store name, because I unfortunately didn't have the option to watch those shows here.  But I guess it's all just getting technical anyways, and people are going to do what they want regardless of the opinions of others, so I doubt that it's going to matter much whether some think of DebbiR as a hypocrite or not... I doubt it bothers her, since in the several months that I've read her posts and chatted with her, she has known who she is, and didn't give a damn about someone else's opinion when they never bothered to get to know her anyway.  So there's no point in insulting her, or calling her names... and besides, the napster subject was talked to death several times the past few months, and I think that this one is just as dead.  So lets everyone let it go.
