why do you feel the need to bring up a discussion less than a week after it's been completely hashed out?

Oh, I care.  Copyright laws don't say that you lose your copyright if the item isn't for sale.  It's the property of the people who produced it.  Distributing it without their permission is illegal regardless of whether they'll sell it to you themselves.

And I like the "not cd quality" retreat.

I assume this means you think it's ok to walk into music stores and steal cassettes.  They're not cd quality.

woohoooo!

it's absolutely stealing.  but this isn't cd quality by any stretch of the imagination and anyone who wants top quality will have to look elsewhere.   And not available for sale, which happens to be where my imaginary moral line is.  Not that you really care or anything.  I'll refrain from my personal opinions of Jon, mmkay?

Side of face 1: NAPSTER is stealing!  It's immoral to download copyrighted music from the net!
Side of face 2: My server is up!  Download all these copyrighted videos from the net!

Jon may be condescending, but at least he's consistent.
