Case in point, Metallica. The Black album was huge, and prior to it, the band had ONE radio hit out of FOUR albums. And though their efforts following the Black album have all gone platinum or better, none have even come close to the sales of the Black album. Yet their fan base continues to grow exponentially (the Napster mess notwithstanding). Anyway, that's MY take on your question!------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------- "And I don't want the world to see me, 'cause I don't think that they'd understand." - Googoo Dolls "End of passion play, crumbling away/I'm your source of self-destruction." - Metallica "Welcome my son/Welcome to the machine." - Pink Floyd ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Wednesday, June 20, 2001 2:13 PM Subject: Facelessman42001's oppinion on the 3rd album to be. :-)> > I think that they will stay the same but get a little DARKER on the lyrics. > I also think that they are going to give Mark Tremonti a little more Freedom > to express himself on the guitar. > He has spoke about wanting to do Guitar solos in the middle of songs but has > had to hold back on it. > This is the Album that will Make or Break Creed. > The reason that I say this is because the First album did Very Well. > The Second album doubled what the first album did. > If this Third album doesn't live up to the fans expectations it could do some > major damage to the Fan base. > This is my oppinion > What's yours??????? > Take care > Facelessman42001 :-)> > > To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: > http://www.winduplist.com/ls/discuss/form.asp > > > To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: http://www.winduplist.com/ls/discuss/form.asp
