well, as we discuss new ways to share products, how about i mention stephen king's attempt to sell a serialized book on line...stephen king fans will recognize this, he put out a serialized story called the plant...it was offered in monthly installments, and fans could purchase each installment thru amazon.com and dl it...initial response was great, but waned after about the third installment...the price ran from $1 to ithink $3 per installment, it still worked out to be less than a hardback copy...he ended up putting the project on hold, unsure if he would eventually bring it back online or not...i don't remember all of the details, but if anyone is interested, email me and i'll give you the website...but it was a revolutionary attempt to deal directly with fans, not too unlike agie's mention of the band marillion...

I in no way can argue with the points that you stated. But it is
interesting that since there is this new technology. Which at least
let's groups of musicians share thier works online. If they can somehow
bypass the big corporations.
Since you mentioned software. It is interesting that the fortune came up
with some software related saying.
It could of been used for the philosophy discussion earlier. The
differences of mind and body.
