Thanks for sending me this quote, I certainly do agree with it. Although the way I see it, you don't necessarily have to be misunderstood to be great. I mean, a lot of people who were great happened to be acknoledged by society. Nonetheless, I get the message of this quote and I believe that it's better to put up with your own individuality than to try to conform others' views - even if this means being misunderstood by others and ending up as an outsider. So, I guess I'm on the right track to becoming a great person, huh? ;-) I know, the theory might sound easy, but I've come across many situations in my life where I just didn't care about my beliefs and I told people what they wanted to hear - just in order not to stand out and be "different". But I'm working on my individuality.
