Antireligious sentiments were a source of controversy for John Lennon in the '60s, Madonna in the '80s, and Marilyn Manson in the '90s. In recent years, artists like Creed and Tori Amos have incorporated a great deal of Christian spirituality in their songs. Many religious leaders have even begun to embrace rock music as a way of attracting young worshipers. VH1 will examine all these issues and more in an upcoming installment of All Access. You can vote for Creed as the most spiritual artist at VH1.com: All Access. Here are the results so far. Creed - 37% U2 - 23% Aretha Franklin - 9% Al Green - 5% Lauryn Hill -5%. VH1 will reveal the results when Rock and Religion premieres on VH1 this summer. Dates and Times to be announced. While you wait for that episode to premiere, you can watch a repeat of VH1 All Access: Music Money Power on Friday 6/1 at 2pm ET to catch a creed sigment at I believe at the #8 spot.
