I hope not.  I think it would really restrict his stage movement and presence.  Sting eventually brought another bass player on board for that very reason.

Hi eveyone my name is allen, i signed for the list a coule weeks ago then by
computer went out. I just a post about creed not havein a bass player yet,
and it said they will be playin bass parts on the next album right, well I
wonder  if there is a possiably scott could take over the bass player part
and still lead sing? Any thoughts?
