PART 2 From: ]\\\\[][G}{T§TÖ®]v[ To: Date: Thu 24 May 2001 16:04:15 -0400 ================================================ Had it... wasn't the Creed that we know, and I wasn't impressed by it anyway. To use a quote from a semi-expert that I e-mailed regarding this song, "neither I nor the people that I asked are aware of any unreleased demo from Creed featuring a song titled "Into the Grain." That's the semi-official response. My totally unofficial response is that it's probably some new band's marketing tactic to get distributed around the net on the coattails of Creed and Tool. " Since it claims to be from the "demo CD of Creed", that would imply that Creed released a CD before the BC version of My Own Prison, using the name Creed... but according to everyone I've talked to, they were using a different band name up to that point... so, between that, and the fact that it sounds literally NOTHING like Creed, I'm guessing either someone fucked up when they named the MP3, or is hoping for some extra publicity... either way, the song isn't worth my time to download again... I was, in a word, unimpressed. ¤]\[][G}{T§TÖ®]v[¤ http://NightStorm.isyourgod.com/ NightStorm_Draco_@hotmail.com NightStorm_Draco@creedlist.com NightStorm@isyourgod.com I've seen the wicked fruit of your vine, Destroy the man who lacks a strong mind Human pride sings a vengeful song Inspired by the times you've been walked on My stage is shared by many millions, Who lift their hands up high because they feel this We are one We are strong, The more you hold us down the more we press on What if you did? What if you lied? What if I avenge? What if eye for an eye? ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Thursday, May 24, 2001 2:58 PM Subject: Re: Archive brings up some old questions...
