Hey Tara!
sorry it took me a while to respond, I definitely appreciate you taking your time to write to me..
Wow! you're a teacher, that's so great, I admire people like you who go through their lives consciously and want to make a difference in this world!
as far as your remark on how people are being rude to others is concerned, I've been giving it some heavy philosophical thought and at some point I came to the conclusion that it's better that way. Otherwise you couldn't stand the world - maybe a bit too extreme of a position (?), I know, I sometimes wonder how I got to such conclusions in the first place.. hehe.. but if you come to think of it... (?)
I guess I've stumbled upon one of the major questions wandering about in my mind from some time now: the utopia question - well, now I'm probably off topic, but since I've started let me at least give you the basic idea I have. First of all, let me ask you if you read "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley because it's from this book I got all of those weird ideas that maybe a utopia wouldn't be as good an aim to have in mind as you'd think it would in the beginning.
sorry, have to cut off here..
Religion and ethics also interest me, so I'm looking forward to discussing them with you

I wonder and wonder and wonder if my wondering has a life of its own or if it's just me being a wonder - a wonderful wonder? I'll have to figure it out first...
