Rationalizing the irrational From: "Creed - 7M3 - Live" To: Date: Sun 13 May 2001 09:58:58 -0400 ================================================ There was a special on the morning news about a guy that has been researching dreams for over 50 years. He stated that dreams are usually about 10 minutes in duration and that they are normally the not suitable for children types of dreams. Also, he said something about dreaming in color compared to black an white dreams means that you are more creative. Another thing I found interestion is the dreaming about cartoons. He stated that it is a normal aspect of dreams and you should start to worry if you stopped having these sorts of dreams. The first dream that I was talking about was visually stimulating, with full color, with no dialog or feeling. The second was more of a sensation of feeling, with some dialog and more black and white visual. Anyway, I remember a dream from last night and it was a dream where I was rationalizing out of the ordinary processes for a new task that I am doing to help out some other area at work. It was more based on rationalizing goofy processes, so they make sense to me in my waking times. From the last few moments of the dream. It sounds like I got a "Spock" from Star Trek. Illogical, does not compute type of response. I'll probably have to solve the problem another way. "And yet just a short time ago, I was challenged by a scholar with an unanswerable question," said Nasrudin. "I could have answered it if I had been there." "Very well. He asked, 'Why are you breaking into my house in the middle of the night?'" To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: http://www.winduplist.com/ls/discuss/form.asp
