    Actually, I wouldn't call it a "problem" that you like her and she's your friend, because I would see the friendship as a great base on which to build a relation of sorts. And even if she refuses, though that may cause some awkwardness, why should it get in the way of your friendship? I've said it before and I'll say it again, love ain't love till ya give it away...
