That's why it's called Faith. To be a Christian you have to devote your whole self to God, you have to trust Him completely in everything, without questioning anything He does. A lot of people have a problem with that, because it's illogical. To get someone passed that, I think requires a miracle. So maybe someday you will have a life altering experience, which will make you believe. Until then there is no use talking about it, because religion and logic don't mix. >>> ]\\[][G}{T§TÖ®]v[ 05/11/01 02:36PM >>> Correct me if I'm wrong, but people have survived having their bodies pierced in the past... especially if their blood circulation has been slowed... and no one can tell me I'm wrong, because as a firefighter and EMT, I have witnessed people have pointy objects penetrate their body within millimeters of their heart, and survive. But as I said in my last post, I'm through with this topic. It's wonderful that some have such faith in their belief, but I just can't see myself ever sharing faith in the same belief... it just leaves way too many thing unanswered. I've really enjoyed talking to some people on here who provide answers better than the typical "just trust in God and you will know" and "it says so in the bible" and "believe in Jesus and you will be forgiven" (which are all things I got to read in my e-mail from some private mails after my first set of questions)... those are the answers that really annoy me, since it says nothing, and proves nothing. At least over the past few days, with some of the posts I have read, some people are more willing to delve into a topic with some detail other than direct quotes from a book that I am having problems believing in the first place. Who knows... perhaps sometime in the future something magnificant will happen that will show me that any one religion is true... but as of yet, all it is to me is stories... things made up to explain that which people didn't yet have an explaination for. Personally, as for now at least, I'm going to have to stick with science and solid fact. ¤]\[][G}{T§TÖ®]v[¤ http://NightStorm.isyourgod.com/ NightStorm_Draco_@hotmail.com NightStorm_Draco@creedlist.com NightStorm@isyourgod.com I've seen the wicked fruit of your vine, Destroy the man who lacks a strong mind Human pride sings a vengeful song Inspired by the times you've been walked on My stage is shared by many millions, Who lift their hands up high because they feel this We are one We are strong, The more you hold us down the more we press on What if you did?
