Well Matt, as the old quote goes,
"Love isn't love till you give it away." Basically, what are your feelings doing
for you if you don't share them with her? That's the concept that gives me the
"courage" to talk to girls like that. My love does me no good if I keep it to
myself. I'll admit that I've never got a "yes", though I've tried 16, goin' on
17 times. Still, I keep goin' back for more, 'cause I know that if I never try
I'll never know and I'd rather live with the humiliation of a "no" than the
empty dissatisfied sadness of having never known.
