Well put, if I say so myself. However, somewhat in defense of Christianity (Whoa! Did that Corvist bastard Jackson say that?!), there is a widely accepted belief in a place called "limbo", which is supposed to exist "just outside of the rim of hell" where the righteous who died before Jesus and the unbaptized infants are supposed to go. Still, I agree, some people do just kind of accept these things without thinking them through much. And you know me, I've got your back if anyone takes offense at all this (some already have, it seems). Was the Bible, the book about Christian faith, not written by the same people that believed that the entire universe revolved around our flat world? And another question that I have heard brought up by a couple people... where is the mention of prehistoric life in the bible and Christian faith? We know it happened... we have proof... solid physical proof... and we know that there was a period of several hundred million years where Dinosaurs cruised the world before man even existed... where is there mention of them in the bible, and what part did they play in it? Theoretically since they were the top of the food chain for all those years, there would be some mention of them somehwere, but yet the book seems to jump from the creation of the world to the creation of man... were some chapter lost? Did someone just get lazy and leave that part out? Who did they worship? What happened to them when they died if they didn't believe in the Christian God? And the bible wasn't around since the beginning of time, anymore than the Christian religion... what about everyone that died before the bible and the religion... who (or what) did they worship, and what became of them when they died? Did they get entry to heaven, even though they never knew of such a place? What's the deal? I don't mean to piss people off by these questions (why do I get a nagging feeling that some people will take it personally though), I just think that if we're getting into a religious debate, that now might be the time to ask and to get an eplaination... or at least hear some other's theories on why these things happened. ¤]\[][G}{T§TÖ®]v[¤ http://NightStorm.isyourgod.com/ NightStorm_Draco_@hotmail.com NightStorm_Draco@creedlist.com NightStorm@isyourgod.com I've seen the wicked fruit of your vine, Destroy the man who lacks a strong mind Human pride sings a vengeful song Inspired by the times you've been walked on My stage is shared by many millions, Who lift their hands up high because they feel this We are one We are strong, The more you hold us down the more we press on What if you did?
