================================================ Subject: Re: question From: To: Date: Sat 5 May 2001 07:37:02 EDT ================================================ I did set my settings to show my questions since the first person answered about REPRO. No need for others to keep repeating that, but thanks.. I've seen an answer now on the list about the studio though. I can see why people think that some of Human Clay was recorded in a house in Tallahassee, due to the report someone quoted that they had been writing and recording music for one of the last two albums there and another report that they would be recording them there, but because Orlando is in the same state and it was stated as a fact by an eyewitness that at least part of one of those last two albums was recorded at Full Sail, I don't find those mentions to be authoritative evidence that nothing was recorded at Full Sail. It is interesting to see that at least part of those albums were done at a house, and certainly all the preliminary recording they did while writing (not necessarily final recording) was done at a house given what was quoted. It's strange they didn't list in the credits where they recorded it. Usually even if a "house" is involved, this is mentioned in the credits. I haven't seen the credits for MOP but I did look at Human Clay and see nothing except on the Sterling mastering. I guess I'll see if someone official at Full Sail can contradict the eyewitness administrative official who told me he SAW them recording there. If so, then Full Sail folks will need to stop saying part of Human Clay was recorded there. I appreciate the quoted passages from the news that someone saw (although that really isn't like album credit info). It should be remembered that most (not all) major label albums are recorded in more than one studio so it is possible that some was done at a house, but not all. Thanks.
