I feel your pain, my friend! The switch to cd's was a stretch for me as well
because of the amount of lp's i had to replace, but the increased sound
quality was something I could not turn my back on, so I took the big leap.
As for having mp3's available for download, I do not. At least not of that
band. We were a cover band and as such, never saw the inside of a recording
studio. That particular band was called "Skyway Jumpers" after the infamous
Skyway Bridge between Palmetto and Clearwater/St.Pete, FL and worked that
area for about 2 years from late 1997 to the beginning of 2000 when the band
broke up and I moved back to my native Saratoga Springs, NY. Our setlist was
quite diverse and included songs from: Creed, CCR, Godsmack, Tonic, Van
Morrison, Candlebox, AIC, Buck Cherry, and lots more. And what self-respecting
cover band doesn't throw in a little "wonderful Tonight" for the sake of
being thorough??!!
Before that, I played in several original bands during my 7 years in
Copenhagen, Denmark and I have some demos that you are welcome to hear if you
like. Just let me know if you are interested. Currently I am working on an
original project called "Orpheus Rising" and we will be releasing our first
full length cd at the end of the summer if all goes well. I will make that cd
available for download to those of you on this list that would like to hear
it, after it is released.
May all of you have a happy day..
Steve
