There's reason behind this, so let me explain why. The religion is not against Christianity, but against restriction, and the word of sin is restriction. They beleive you should be able to do your true desires, without being condemmed, because we are not evil, or sinners, we are all stars in the sky, unique in every way. We should be able to pursue our inner dreams without feeling guilt, or like we are sinning. I really cant explain more because they beleive that after reading The Book of Law (the prophey about Thelema) you should take it in on your own grounds, and understand it in your own mind, w/o limitation, or w/o being tainted by by someone elses exsplanations. Plus, it's so deep that it's really hard to put it in words. It's probably impossible.. I'm not saying it's perfect, and that it's better than anything else, or to delve into it. I think it's something you have to feel inside yourself. For me, it ives me the most inner freedom, and the most peace I ahve ever had the privelage to exsperience. But, if Christianity and it's ideals please you, then stick with it. What ever works, right?
