Come, come, no apology is needed. You expressed your opinions and you got several responses, some of them angry at you personally, some of them just angry philosophically (I guess mine fell under that category), and there's nothing wrong with any of that. Nor was it inherently wrong to type that email, hell, I found all of this rather amusing.
Anyway, just remember that whatever you type is subject to the replies of those to whom you've typed it, and last time I checked there were 762 people on this list. Now, you didn't get 762 responses (thank whatever it is that you consider holy for that!), but you got plenty, and as I said, there's nothing wrong with that, but you need to remember this next time before you write 762 people something with which not all of them will happily agree.
Sorry about any problems we've caused you, but have fun, and rock on!

Subject: An Apology...Please read

Hey Creedsters,

After reading all the responses to my last e-mail (Mr. Stapp and his temper)
I thought an apology was in order.  A lot of what I said, of course, was out
of anger.  Not at Scott personally but at the mistake that he made and that's
basically what was, a mistake.  I've just seen too many of my favorites go
downhill because of mistakes they've made.  I don't want to see Scott go down
the same path.  Personally, I think that if I had thought out that e-mail
more thoroughly I'd never would have written it.  Like I said a lot....most
of it was said out of anger.  When I sit down and think it through, the best
thing we can do is just keep supporting them the way we have been.  So, sorry
for that last e-mail.  Please forgive me for my trespasses.

Thanks,

Charlie
