That's the most intelligent thing anyone's said all day, Steve! Man, you'd think that we'd have figured it out by now. Though personally I find it all *quite* amusing.

Ok people, I have been reading about this crap forever and enough is enough.
Scott is just a guy in a band and if he wasn't in a popular band he would be
just another dirtbag musician whos parents would be insisting he find a "real
job". However, he happens to be a "star" and everything he does is viewed
under a microscope. Have any of you ever met a "rock star"? If you had, you
would realize that they are just people like you and I. People that have
character flaws, people that do stupid things and people that even get angry
to the point of violence on occasion. This is all part of being alive and
should have no special meaning because of someones status or public image.
And to those of you who believe that he is, or should be above this type of
behavior because of his "strong moral conviction", I say this; GET REAL!
Scott is not a prophet and most of the lyrics he writes question the validity
of organized religion rather than support it. HE IS JUST A GUY IN A REALLY
COOL BAND THAT IS DOING RATHER WELL>>>WHY DON' SOME OF YOU GET IT?
