================================================ Subject: Odp: RE: Mr. Stapp and his temper. From: "Jackson Crawford" To: Date: Wed 25 Apr 2001 15:42:25 -0500 ================================================ No, someone already started that "list riot" a whilst ago with that damned "Mr. Stapp and His Temper" email, which got just about everyone writing in to say that either A) it's none of our business/ anyone would have done that/ it was the thing to do, or B) that was so irresponsible/ what about ethics/ he's my role model what's he doing...frankly I think most of the opinions have been rehashed about 20 times already. And really, "temper" and "calmness" don't necessarily have anything to do with fighting - calmer people are usually better at fighting, as a matter of fact. Hell, I'm like the most laid back guy this side of the Mississippi and even I've been in fights. I respect Stapp for what he did, all the more than I did before he did that. So really...anyway. Thought that I'd throw that in there. And as far as "not doing very Christian things", were the Crusades or the Pogroms "very Christian things to do"? Don't judge someone based solely on his religion (or lack thereof). Oh, no! Was this written to start yet another list riot? lmao I tend to disagree with you - not all would act the way he has, I'm sure some would be calmer and I'm sure there are a lot out there that would have been more extreme. Although he isn't doing very Godly things, is he? IAnyone would do the same thing though, Christian or not.
