There you go again knocking the sound system. You should just try to listen to the music. Instead of overanylizing the sound system. :-)

Basically, I thought that Scott looked relaxed during the performance and that Mark seemed to be playing longer riffs on the guitar.

Hi Steve, welcome to the list.  I think the reason the song was cut short was
probably due to time contraints, and I also think part of the poor quality
was due to the sound system, it started out sounding bad, but I think he
warmed up near the end.  I personally, sort of tuned it out as soon as I
heard them start Higher again.....I'm sick to death of seeing them do that
song.  I was really hoping they'd do Are You Ready, so frankly, I didn't pay
enough attention to notice how bad he sounded.

Does anyone know why Scott sounded so totally bad at the grammy
performance??
And, wasn't there another verse to that song?  You may already have
discussed
this, but I am new to this list and was wondering if he had a good excuse
for
such a dissapointing performance...
