You are saying that Creed will try to follow a trendy style. After all, that is where the main money is. To be honest, I don't think Creed is original. Anyway, my British English isn't up to par. So, I'll try to reply to what I think you said. Creed would not be a band that set a trend. Since some people thought it was a new song from PJ. Others thought it was a new song from 7M3. Still others came out with a different "I think it is this band" Myself, I originally heard "My Own Prison" on the radio. I thought, this song sounds pretty good. I never heard this band before. Oh well, I like the song. So I'll buy it. They are probably a one hit wonder. Well! I was right on the new band thing. Back to your point. Creed might hit towards the trendy with their new album. I don't know. The pop crowd seems to have more people to get money from. Then again, Creed could come out with some really great songs. They could be different. About the British bands. I like Bush (the band of course). It would be great to hear more about them locally. I listened to the ones you listed. Talk with you later, Jim PS - Sorry for the cut off thought. > > > they need to try and make or keep with trends to be seen as trendy > and everything ya know, and some bands are trendy some aren't..... > > for any rock album to be seen as trendy i think they need to be > original, and i don't think creed are to be honest. let me put it > another way to stop getting beaten up by everyone: they aren't > breaking any new barriers are they? > > > > doesn't help that they are yanks either!! > > > > Mr Mungo, > > ----- Original Message ----- > > *From:*Agnieszka > > *To:*CREED-DISCUSS@WINDUPLIST.COM > > > *Sent:* Sunday, April 08, 2001 8:57 PM > > *Subject:* Re: NCR: Just testing.....works...
