Subject: NCR-VIRUS WARNING

This is for anyone who uses Outlook Express-

My virus scanner picked up a virus today, called JS/KAK.WORM.  It spreads through e-mail, through a security hole in Outlook Express.  If you use the preview pane, it drops a file in your Windows directory.  When you reboot your computer, the virus executes.  The worst it does is shut down Windows on you at 5PM on the 1st of the month, and it propogates (spreads) via Outlook Express (e-mail).  I'm providing a couple of links for more information on this virus, and Scott's webpage (http://nightstorm.isyourgod.com) has the Protector Plus download, which is the virus scanner that caught it on my computer.  The thing is, I most likely got this virus from someone on this list, since none of the other e-mails I received today was from anyone on Outlook Express.  So hopefully, everyone will scan their computers for it, and the first website listed has a fix for it, with instructions on how to get rid of it.
