lisa, i agree with you wholeheartedly...perhaps the mother is being abused too...chances are, she is enduring verbal/emotional abuse as well, since the father is an alcoholic, and she has poor self esteem herself, and maybe figures there's no way out...(can you tell i've had some experience with this?) i plan to email this young lady too...there is ALWAYS a way out...but sometimes you need someone outside of the situation to help show you the way...

Getting seriously peeved here. Will be emailing this girl soon. She is
not alone but she must feel like it.
