I'd like to  interject my own elevating influence from Creed as well.  I have been told my entire life that "you are only as happy as you decide to be."  At times it made sense, but it was hard to swallow at most other times.  I am a Christian, but just like Scott, I had difficulty at times accepting that there were things I could not, and would never, understand and I could not allow those things undermine my happiness and zest for life.  "My Own Prison" made it all so crystal clear to me and it has allowed me to pass this revelation and its easy understanding on to my children as they grow.  MOP will always be my favorite song of ALL TIME---I can't imagine any other song ever having so much impact on me and my life. (Sounds SO corny when I try to put it down into words...)

Well hello...and welcome. I'm also mostly a lurker....I just don't feel
comfortable 'jumping in' most of the time! Creed has helped me in numerous
ways...totally unimaginable! I am a huge fan of Mark...he's an incredible
man with incredible talent!! (The same with Flip and Stapp) They have
helped me through rough times.....and oddly enough...they have helped me
with my 'so-called' diet...their music mainly....just motivates me! My
total weight loss is 47lbs....and still going! Just thought I'd share my
thought!! G'night all!
Rock On,
Kim
