Personally, I could care less what certification they were given. In my eyes, they sold lots and lots of CD's and tapes, and they were given a little plaque for it. Whoo-hoo. Especially since the system I was raised on isn't anything close to the system that is used here in the states. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Debbi" To: Sent: Saturday, February 16, 2002 4:17 PM Subject: Re: FW: Creed Interview from MTV.Com Lol 10X platinum = diamond. And I only know this because I'm in the middle of a discussion on another list about this very subject. Evidently nobody but me has a problem with a band using the term "multi-platinum" when they haven't actually received a certification of more than "platinum" for any given album. This despite the fact that "multi-platinum" is trademarked by the RIAA. *sigh* -----Original Message----- From: Creed Discussion List [mailto:CREED-DISCUSS@WINDUPLIST.COM] On Behalf Of ]\[][G}{T§TÖ®]v[ Sent: Saturday, February 16, 2002 1:05 PM To: CREED-DISCUSS@WINDUPLIST.COM Subject: Re: FW: Creed Interview from MTV.Com Uhh, yeah. It's an old interview. hence the original posting date of Saturday, October 23, 1999 2:41 AM. And I don't think Shay hasn't been on the list for a couple years now. =P It's kind of cool though to look back on where Creed was when HC first came out, and where they are now that the album went 10X Diamond (I think it was... it went 10X something) and Weathered was released.
