I really love SW too....one of my favorite bands.....but I have to say that, perhaps disbanding now is all for the best.  The first 3 albums are incredible....the S/T, while still an awesome album, is not on par with the others.....it's almost "poppy" sounding.  If this is the direction that any follow-up albums would take.....then, maybe it's a good thing they stop now.  I'm still bummed that I never did get a chance to see them live though.

I know there are a couple of you on here, and I don't know if you
are on their list, but I just wanted to let everyone know that probably one
of the best bands around recently just split up.  Stabbing Westward was a
great band that had very powerful and emotional music.  If any of you want
to check out a musical masterpiece, check out their album Darkest Days.
Their other albums were Ungod, Wither Blister Burn and Peel, and their 4th
and final studio album, which was self titled, Stabbing Westward.  I really
am heart broken about this, just had to vent a little.
