I was thinking maybe he means that he is bungee cord jumping and his is six feet from the edge and he is trying to get up enough courage to jump, so he thinks to himself, "Six feet ain't so far down....".

Just kidding, I agree with your interpretation.  :)

Subject: one last breath

i am totally imphatuated with the song, "one last breath"........i can never get enough of it!    it's such a deep song.......when he says, "i'm six feet from the edge, and i'm thinkin, maybe six feet, ain't so far down" i think he's sayin, he's so close to the edge of life, so close to losing a big part of himself, that death (six feet down) doesn't seem so far away.  does anyone share my opinion on this song interpretation?
ps.....have ya'll seen the olympics comercial with creed playin in the background??????    i love it.
