From: To: Date: Thu 31 Jan 2002 02:57:34 EST ================================================ You seem sincere, even though you still feel the need to defend yourself. For future reference: that's only going to continue the argument. Regardless, the apology needs to be directed to Debbi, not the rest of us. We've seen this kind of fighting before. Sadly, it doesn't really phase me. You know, you all are right. I do not know Debbi personally and I always meant to direct my postings at the only part of her that I was familiar with, which was HER POSTINGS. I did not mean to insult Debbi, I never used harsh words or namecalling and I never "reported" her to anyone. I emailed her directly one day to simply ask her to "tone down" her language a bit, because I have a fifteen year-old son and a fourteen year-old daughter and I just think that they need to be able to express themselves without all of the expletives and that they sound more intelligent and educated when they do not use all of the slang and cursing. Debbi shot right back at me with her sharp tongue (fingers) and indifferent attitude. I felt as though I was just "holding up a mirror" for her to see herself a little more clearly with my next couple of postings regarding her language( and yes, I MAY HAVE sounded scolding or preachy, because I am a Mom and I sometimes come across that way). But you ALL are right, I suppose that I sounded Judgemental and "Prudish". Then, YOU ALL held up the mirror for me to see myself more clearly, and I have. I offer my apology to one and all for anything that I posted that may have been taken as pious or condescending or insulting. I am only on this list because I am a Creed fan and I am interested in what is going on--not to screen it for unfit language or content not to insult anyone. >> To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: http://www.winduplist.com/ls/discuss/form.asp
