I was refering to the preaching as if from a church pulpit. Preaching also has an agenda to sway someone to your point of view. I belive their lyrics are very insightful and inspire deep thinking on the part of the listener. I do not see an agenda in any of Creed's lyrics, but rather a inspiring one to question. Biblical imagery can be taken many different ways depending on your background and beliefs. Scott's lyrics have had a very special place in my life for many reasons, including a life line when suicide was a serious option.
